Today, there's no real miracle solution for driving in a totally ecological way, but while we're waiting to find a genius idea, I'll give you a few tips on how to drive more ecologically.

Anticipating traffic

On the road we're all in a bit of a hurry, but it's time to let go of the race against the clock.

To achieve this, you can adopt a smoother driving style in a converted van, with gradual acceleration and less abrupt braking.

These simple reflexes can reduce your fuel consumption by up to 20%. That's better for the planet and your fuel budget!

A light foot on the gas pedal

Try to drive at a constant speed in a converted car, and if it helps, activate the speed limiter so that you don't exceed a certain threshold - this will save you from speeding fines!

Plus, it'll let you enjoy the scenery and reduce your stress. Double victory!

Switch off the engine when stationary

If you're waiting for someone or stuck in traffic, it's best to turn off your engine!

You'll use less fuel that way.

Meet new people and share your travels

We don't often have the reflex to do it, but if you've got room left in your car, you can share your moped trips with someone

As well as meeting great people, you can earn a little money to pay for your gas, for example.

Whether it's the Van Kit, theMicro Camper Kitor thebunk kit, you can install them in your trunk for riding with passengers in the back.

Don't hesitate to use the BlaBlaCar application, for example, to carpool on a daily basis or during your vacations!

Check your tire pressure

Before setting off on your journey, take a good look around your vehicle to check that everything's in order. In particular, check the state of wear of your tires, and don't hesitate to re-inflate them if necessary (following the manufacturer's recommendations). Well-inflated tires increase rolling resistance, which means your engine has less effort to make.

Check your tire pressure regularly and adjust it according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

Plan your journeys in advance

Reduce unnecessary kilometers by planning your trips in advance.

Not only to save fuel, but also to save time.

Rational use of air conditioning and heating

When it's hot, try to open the windows as wide as possible at low speeds to ventilate the passenger compartment. Excessive use of air conditioning can have harmful effects on your health and contribute to global warming (which is exactly what we want to avoid).

Unnecessary accessories to avoid when riding

Roof racks, roof boxes and other accessories can increase wind resistance and therefore fuel consumption. Remove them when not in use. them.
