How do you measure your vehicle to find out if a Tchao Tchao kit is compatible?

Our Tchao Tchao equipment kits are compatible with more than 140 vehicle models. To find out if your vehicle is one of them, you'll find a sheet just for you. here .   

My vehicle does not appear in the list of compatible vehicles

If your vehicle doesn't appear in the list of compatible vehicles, don't panic, just take the measurements of your vehicle to test its compatibility.

Measure your vehicle

Measure your vehicle in 3 steps:

1) Take a tape measure and lower the front seats as far forward as possible. 


2) Then lower the rear seats of your vehicle. If the rear seats don't fold down completely, that's no problem, as the kit can be adapted to suit the inclination of the seats.  Once the seats are folded down, simply place the start of the meter 30 cm from the floor and the end of your trunk, right behind the reclining seats.


3) To measure the width of your vehicle, it's the same procedure: you stand about 30 cm from the floor and position yourself at the level of the vehicle's wheel arches, measuring the width. Make sure you stretch your tape measure to get reliable measurements.

Which Tchao Tchao kit is compatible with my vehicle?

Depending on the measurements you've found, your vehicle will be compatible with our sleeper kit, Micro Camper Kit or Van Kit.

Compatible with our sleeper kit

The sleeper kit has been designed for small city vehicles such as a Fiat Fiorino or Citroen Nemo. It allows you to fit out your vehicle without making any modifications. This means you can take a weekend off on a whim and use your vehicle on a daily basis. 
For your vehicle to be compatible with this kit, you need to find a minimum length 1M50 and a minimum width 45cm for 1-person kit and 90cm for 2-person kit .

Compatibility with our Micro Camper Kit

Our Micro Camper Kit has been designed for vehicles known as "Micro Camper", i.e. halfway between a minivan and a city car, like the Citroên Berlingo or the Dacia Dokker . 

Thanks to this kit, you'll be able to enjoy 270L of comfortable storage space, as well as plenty of storage space to take on the road with peace of mind. 

For your vehicle to be compatible with our Micro Camper Kit, you must have a minimum length 1M65 and a minimum width 55cm for 1-person kit and 1M10 for 2-person kit .

Compatible with our van layout kit

As its name suggests, the van conversion kit has been designed for vans, with plenty of storage space and features to help you enjoy a trouble-free nomadic lifestyle. 
this kit will be compatible with your vehicle if you have a minimum length 1M90 and minimum 58cm  width for the kit 1 person and 1M15 for 2-seater kit.
